Bedford is an independent professional services firm specializing in cost segregation and innovative tax and energy solutions for the commercial real estate industry. We are not an affiliate or subsidiary of an accounting firm and are committed to working closely with CPAs, property owners and trusted advisors to provide high quality “tax-centric” solutions. Having conducted over 10,000 studies nationwide since our inception in 2002, we have had the privilege of assisting hundreds of clients with cost segregation and many other valuable solutions. Our project experience includes engagements on properties ranging from $350,000 to $1.4 billion, leasehold improvement projects less than 3,000 square feet to buildings in excess of 2 million square feet and everything from simple self-storage facilities to highly complex manufacturing plants. Our technical staff is comprised of professional engineers (P.E.s), multidisciplinary engineers, architects and construction professionals. Each has at least a four year related technical degree with many holding advanced degrees. The Bedford team is highly qualified and relies on a true engineering methodology, which is based on what we refer to as “sound engineering”. Our tax team consists of seasoned professionals, who are well versed in the various aspects of Tax Law pertaining to depreciation, capitalization and expense provisions.
