Mauritshuis Museum x LaToya Jones’ “Girl with a Pearl”

She won!!! “My Girl with a Pearl” will be featured at the astounding Mauritshuis Museum near Amsterdam in the Royal Vermeer room. Home of the original “Girl with a Pearl” painted by Johannes Vermeer dated 1665. The Hague, Netherlands. The Mauritshuis Museum announced their Ode to the “Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Johanne (Jan) Vermeer. The museum has selected a few artist from around the world to showcase artist’ depictions of the “Girl with a Pearl Earring.” Over 3500 creations were submitted, less than 200 were selected.
