Founded over 45 years ago, Willdan Group, Inc. is a provider of professional technical and consulting services to small and mid-sized public agencies, large public utilities and, to a lesser extent, private industry primarily located in California, New York and Arizona. Willdan operates in three business segments—engineering services, public finance services, and homeland security services. Through these business segments Willdan provides a diversified range of services that include civil engineering and planning, energy efficiency and sustainability, economic and financial consulting, and homeland security and communications and technology. Willdan's unique set of integrated competencies, in addition to its well-established relationships and experience in navigating the public sector, have enhanced Willdan's ability to win projects and expand its customer relations into new markets across the country, including California, New York, Arizona, Washington, D.C., Texas, and Florida. Willdan's clients include cities, counties, special districts, state and federal agencies, public utilities and, to a lesser extent, private-sector clients. Willdan continues to execute its business strategy to diversify its revenue base and to generate sustained, profitable, organic growth. The company plans to continue its expansion into newer, high growth markets such as energy efficiency consulting, sustainability and homeland security; pursue larger, longer-term projects and contracts; focus on operational efficiencies to drive productivity, assist cities in California in their outsourcing needs and capture additional business from the federal government.
