Omni Hotels & Resorts is planning to build a 27 story hotel in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. The hotel would include 550 guestrooms on a parking lot at the southern end of Fayetteville Street from the Martin Marietta Center. Plans include a 9,000 sf lobby, a lobby bar, a 2,807 sf sports bar, a 2,751 sf specialty restaurant, a 2,000-sf café, a fitness room, social room, relaxation room, out door pool and spa and several meeting and ball rooms. Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio and Waldrop + Nichols Studio are design the hotel. The project will cost $300 to build and be complete in 2027.
