Developer Winwood Hospitality Group Inc. is proposing to build a 235 guestroom dual branded Marriott hotel at 10100 Lumley Road, in Raleigh Durham, North Carolina where Interstate 540 and Lumley Road intersect just north of the airport. The proposed hotel would be seven stories and 158,662 square feet with 237 parking spaces. The hotel would include an AC Hotel and Element, both brands under Marriott. McAdams and RBA Group are designing the project. The project would include a rooftop bar, lounge and outdoor terrace on the seventh floor, along with four meeting rooms and a breakfast area with a variety of room layouts, including studio king, standard king, one-bedroom suites, studio queen and ADA-compliant rooms.
