Developer The Genting Group is proposing and expansion and renovation of the Resorts World New York City. The $5.5 billion project would in the first phase, at the existing casino replace the 5,500 video lottery and electronic table games with 250 live table games and 4,000 slot machines and electronic table games. Phase two, would expand the footprint of the casino and add new amenities including: A 7,000-seat multipurpose entertainment venue. The addition of 7,000 parking spaces. 12 acres of public green spaces. The addition of 1,600 new hotel rooms and 30 new food-and-beverage options. Perkins Eastman is the project designer.
