Developers are proposing to build a 116 guestroom, 88,000 square foot hotel behind the former UGA President’s House at 570 Prince Price Avenue in Athens, Georgia. Capstone Property Group, led by Jeff Payne is the project’s developer. Lori Bork Newcomer of Arcollab in the project’s Architect. The developer is requesting a zoning waiver related to the hotel’s size which is part of the larger mixed use Homewood Hills development that includes retail and apartments.
