Developer McKibbon Hospitality is planning to break ground on a dual branded Marriott hotel in downtown Tampa, Florida’s Channel district. There will be 175 AC Hotel guest-rooms and 135 Moxy by Marriott guest-rooms. The hotel will include 12,000 square feet of street-level space, a street-level cafe and wine bar and a rooftop restaurant and bar on the 13th floor. The fifth-floor pool deck will include a bodega.
