Sun Capital Hotels, led by President and CEO Deepesh Kholwadwala, plans to develop a five-story hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The approximately 140-room property, located at 1010 18th St. NW in the Sawmill District, is expected to break ground in the third quarter of 2027 and open in late 2028. Modulus Architects & Land Use Planning is serving as the project’s agent and land-use consultant, while Peter Butterfield is the project architect.
