Banbury Development, which oversees the development of the Novus Innovation Corridor in Tempe, Arizona is partnering with Bill Okland, the CEO of Okland Construction to build a new seven-story upscale hotel to be built as part of the Novus Innovation Corridor on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus. The new 168-room,116,855-square-foot hotel property – part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio – will be located at Novus Place and Packard Drive. The Marriott Tribute Portfolio property in Tempe will be a full-service hotel with a rooftop pool and bar and a 2,700-square-foot meeting space. The project is in the design and planning stages, with construction set to start in the second quarter of 2027 with a target opening in the first half of 2029. Greg Weaver is the CEO of Banbury Development, which is the master developer of Novus.
