
Developers are proposing a mixed use development called, SidCo Commons at 4311 and 4319 Sidco Drive in South Nashville, Tennessee. The project calls for two apartment buildings and a 16-story hotel anchored by an outdoor ice rink is slated to squeeze between a Cracker Barrel and a Waffle House. Plans for a three-building, mixed-use development have been pitched in South Nashville, between the One Hundred Oaks area and Nashville Zoo. The vision for the development includes three buildings: two apartment buildings and one hotel. The two residential buildings are planned to offer ground-floor retail space, with one rising five stories and the other 12 stories. Some 20% of the units in the five-story apartment building would be designated for affordable housing, The project site is owned by two property owners. An LLC owned by Darshan Patel. The 4319 Sidco Drive site is owned by an LLC owned by Richard Epperson. Paradym Studio is an architect for the project. A rezoning request for the development will go before the Metro Planning Department for approval.
