DelMonte Hotel Group is developing a five-story, 189-room dual-brand hotel at CityGate in Rochester, New York, combining AC Hotel by Marriott and Element by Westin. Designed by Columbus-based Meyers + Associates, the project will include 115 AC Hotel rooms and 74 Element rooms, with each brand’s design reflected along the Erie Canal. Construction began in April 2025 and is expected to take about 18 months, with opening planned for late 2026 or early 2027. Pike Construction Services is the general contractor.
