Construction will begin on a 140 guest room hotel connected by breezeway to Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. The hotel, located at 777 Hollywood Casino Blvd., is expected to open in 2028. Kansas Entertainment LLC—a joint venture between Penn Entertainment Inc. and NASCAR—will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking. Prime Group US will finance and develop the property, and Shaner Hotels will operate it. The hotel will join Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio. Lydia Garvey is the casino’s general manager, and Jay Snowden is CEO of Penn Entertainment.
