Developer Gatehouse Capital plans to build a new hotel at the intersection of North Washington Ave and South Delaware Ave in downtown Mason City Iowa with construction of start in the first quarter of 2021. The city of Mason approved a $24 million public-private partnership with Gatehouse to develop the hotel that will be branded at the Hyatt Place Hotel & Convention Center and include 111 guestrooms.
