Developer Vision Hotels is proposing to build a 162 guestroom dual brand Fairfield Inn & Residence Inn just of Carling Road in Clay, New York near the proposed Micron Technology Inc semiconductor plant. It would be built on a vacant lot off Carling Road, which is off Route 31 near Interstate 481. It would share a driveway with TownPlace Suites, opened by Visions in 2018. Plans call for 80 extended-stay suites with kitchens at the Residence Inn portion of the hotel and 82 standard guest rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. It also will feature a 1,900 square-foot pool room and a 1,200-square-foot fitness center, as well as a 2,600-square-foot outdoor patio with fire pits, BBQ grills, heaters, and seating. Other amenities include a guest laundry with five washers and dryers, a 400- square-foot flexible meeting room, a 400-square-foot recreational room featuring an indoor golf simulator, a multi-functional lobby and lounge, and a shop offering snacks, beverages, sundries, frozen meals, and candies. Construction will take about 18 months.

The owners of Birkdale Village in Huntersville, North Carolina have been granted rezoning approval for the next phase of their development. The $200 million proposal includes a new 7 story 125 guest room hotel, 150 multifamily units, 26,715 square feet of retail space and a seven-story office building. Construction is planned to begin in early 2027.

Developer West River Hotels is planning to build a new hotel in Hood, California. Each suite in the four-story hotel would face the water with a pool and a marina with space for 20 boats right on the river. The project will need to be approved by the county planning commission and other regulatory agencies before construction can begin. The developers plan to break ground in the spring of 2026. Bob Leach is CEO of West River Hotels. Dan Whaley is the property owner co-partner on the project.
