Developer Philip Burton of Burton Property Group has proposed to build an 87 guest room boutique hotel on the site of the old Hardeman National Guard Armory near Municipal Park in the Villages of Springhill West Mobile, Alabama. Conditional approval was granted by the Board of Zoning Adjustment pending changes to site plan to conform to community design standards, and a traffic impact study. The property is owned by the City of Mobile, and Burton has the site under contract.

Hotel developer MHR Capital Group has commenced construction of an AC Marriott hotel in Kennewick, Washington in partnership with A1 Hospitality Group and Fowler Construction. The new $47 million hotel will be connected to the Three Rivers Convention Center will be 5 stories, and include 162 guestrooms, a restaurant and meeting space. Kamran Hasan, if founder and CEO of MHR Capital Group.

Loden Development is planning to build a $75 million hotel mixed use development called The Deport at 327 W Davie, Street in the Warehouse District of Raleigh, North Carolina. Loden’s plans include an 8-story, 170-room guestroom hotel with a rooftop bar, 30,000 square feet of retail and 20,000 square feet of office space.
