Kissimmee Place Development Group Inc. is proposing to build two hotel totaling 422 guest rooms on 8.5 vacant acres at Kissimmee Gateway Airport, in Kissimmee, Florida. As-well 1.43 acres near the Toho Square Garage in downtown Kissimmee. The Kissimmee Gateway Airport project would be for 122-room, 60,000-square-foot Hyatt Studios hotel with 3,000 square feet of conference space. The Toho Square project would include a 300-room Hyatt Kissimmee Place hotel with a 30,000-square-foot conference center on 1.43 acres near the city’s 400-space parking garage. Construction would begin on the airport hotel in January 2025 and the downtown hotel and conference center in April 2025. The hotel at Kissimmee Gateway would be open by January 2027 and downtown hotel April 2025. The total project cost is estimated at $115 million.
