Developer Niviar LLC is planning to build a 50 room boutique hotel in downtown Port Townsend, Washington. The four-story hotel, involves removing and replacing the Sanderling office building at 1136 Water St. The hotel would include a small gym, cafe, meeting area, spa and parking with EV charging. The project is being designed by Haven Design Workshop, with BCJ Group as the builder. The team also includes Sound Development Group, civil engineer and surveyor; Stratum Group, geotechnical engineer; CG Engineering, structural; KCB Environmental Services, consultant; and Faber Construction, prior development consultant. The project is currently in design review with final permit pending.

Developers, Prosper Group and Forte Development are planning an 80-story mixed-use tower in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida.  Designed by ODP Architects the 945-foot building would be located at: 1040 South Miami Avenue. The tower would include 250 condominium units, 48 condo-hotel residences, 100 hotel guest rooms, 322 parking spaces and 1,900 square feet of restaurant space. Developers are planning to build a Home2 Suites by Hilton Hotel near Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. The 174 guestroom extended stay hotel would be located at 1875 Peachtree Road. The hotel would be eight stories over a parking garage, lobby, and valet area. The project will be on .67 acres, and the scope of infrastructure work calls for streetscape improvements, in addition to storm-water and utility work. The project team includes: Phoenix Development Partners and architecture firms Pappageorge Haymes Partners and HC Architecture.

A developer plans to build two hotels and housing as part of a project to transform the former Post Bulletin site in downtown Rochester, Minnesota. Empire Hotels plans to redevelop the site, at 18 First Ave. SE across from the Mayo Civic Center, with a total of 290 guestrooms and a seven-story, 190-unit residential building, a 260 parking garage and 11,000 square feet of commercial space including retail, a food hall and entertainment. One of the hotels, would be an AC Marriott with 155 guestrooms. The 2nd 135 guestroom hotel branding is still to be determined. The residential building would include micro apartments, spanning 380 square feet each; studio apartments, at 500 square feet each; and one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Empire Hotels is led by Harshal Patel. ESG Architecture is the designing the project.
