Developers Designated Bidders LLC and Weston Urban have proposed a mixed use development that will include 681 apartment units and a 160-guest room hotel as part of a new downtown ballpark in San Antonio, Texas. The projects represent phase one of what is expected to be about $1 billion in private development. The 27-story tower would rise at 309 W. Travis St., the 14-story apartment is slated for 327 W. Martin St., with the hotel adjacent at the northwest corner of West Martin Street and South Flores Street. The team, also includes the design firm Populous. The project was preliminary approved by the Historic and Design Review Commission (HDRC).
