
Developer AP Beach Properties LLC, headed by Tomasz Ciesielski is planning to build a beach front hotel in Clearwater, Florida. The proposed 135 guest room hotel would include: 20,000 square feet of retail space, 6,825 square feet of restaurant and a 160,795-square-foot parking garage within the tourist district at 405 Coronado Drive. The 1.75-acre site is across the street from Opal Sands Resort & Spa, Pelican Pointe Hotel and Condo and Ivory Sands Beach Suites. The first four floors of the 100-foot-tall hotel will contain a parking garage as well as other components like maintenance rooms. The fifth floor will include a pool and deck over parking. Floors six through nine will be hotel rooms. Behar Peteranecz is the architect and Northside Engineering is the engineer.
