The Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, is planning to be renovated and expanded with an outdoor plaza south on 1.7 acres of land comprising Block P at the Covington Central Riverfront. On the land immediately west of the convention center, a neew 450 guest room convention hotel will be built. The city is currently seeking developer proposals for that project. An announcement on the convention center expansion is expected in the first half of 2026.
