Hotel Development Company NORF based in New Orleans is planning the renovation that would restore the abandoned hotel and convert it to a mixed use project including a boutique hotel, retail and residences. In its prime after being built in the 1950s, the 115,000-square-foot, upscale hotel had a three-story parking garage, rooftop swimming pool and a cabana. The building has been empty for years and is located at 106 E Elm Street.
