Developer Andy Patel of Apple Investors Group and owner of Dogwood Social is planning to build a dual branded Marriott Hotel in O’Fallon, Missouri at Playfield Commons. The $30 million property would be branded as a Springhill Suites and TownPlace Suites located on Technology Drive. Patel is developer of the Playfield Commons project which includes a 168,000 square-foot indoor sports facility with multiple indoor sports courts and fields, as well as about 25,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space. The retail center would include a Dogwood Social House location, banquet hall, restaurants, retail and a food truck park.
