Developer Kell Sloan or Sun City Hotels Ltd plans to build the Hotel Waterpark Southland in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. The new hotel will include 120 extended stay style guestrooms, as well as an indoor waterpark with waterslide, pool and hot tub, wellness facilities and an exercise room. At this time no brand has been selected but the owner plans to select a flag in the coming months. Construction is planned to begin in August of 2026.
