Developer Witham Family Hotels has commenced construction of a Hilton branded Home2 Suites in Ellsworth, Maine along the High Street corridor. The project will feature 83 guestrooms with completion planned for last 2026. Wright-Ryan is the projects’ general contractor. Witham Family Hotels’ director is Eric Marichal with David Witham as CEO. The Witham Family Hotels also owns additional area hotels including: the Acadia Inn, Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center, the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel, Bar Harbor Inn, Bar Harbor Motel, Bar Harbor Villager Motel, along with the Bayview Hotel and Hampton Inn.
