Developer Trammell Crow has began construction on mixed use development that will included a hotel and 394-unit apartment near SMU in Dallas, Texas at the Mockingbird DART station. Amenities at the complex will include a resort-style pool, club room, fitness center, coworking spaces, dog park and electric vehicle charging stations. This initial phase is part of a larger transit-oriented development that will convert 16 acres of surface parking lots around the North Dallas station. The multi-phase project will include another residential tower, a hotel and office space. The apartment project is at the northeast corner of Twin Sixties Drive and Worcola Street, which will feature a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 524 square feet to 1,484 square feet. Construction will be completed by Q1 2028.
