Developers are planning to build a new hotel on the former site of the Listel Hotel in Vancouver, Canada that would open in 2029, and be branded as an Unbound Collection by Hyatt flag. The Listel hotel at 1300 Robson St. closed in late 2024 in preparation for its redevelopment into a new 28-storey mixed-use tower, featuring hotel uses in the lower half of the building and market rental housing in the upper half. The new hotel will be operated by Listel Hospitality Group and will have 183 guestrooms, and a major restaurant at ground level. The tower is being designed by Henriquez Partners Architects, with interiors by Studio Paolo Ferrari. Bosa Properties is the property developer.
