Parkes Development has begun construction of the Kimpton Hotel in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The project will transform the historic Traction Building located at 432 Walnut Street into a boutique hotel 152 guestrooms. Designed by architect Daniel Burnham and completed in 1903, the Traction Building was designated a historic landmark in 2015. Parkes Construction is the project’s general contractor. The hotel will open in late 2027.
