Loews Hotels & Co plans to build a $500 million 507 guestroom hotel in Arlington, Texas. Loews will redevelop 14 acres of land where the existing Sheraton Arlington Hotel sits at 1500 Convention Center Drive. Demolition has begun the 311 guestroom Sheraton to make way for the new hotel. The new Americana by Loews Hotel will be completed in 2028. CQ. The hotel will feature more than 83,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, and a 10,000-square-foot event barn to attract large gatherings.
