Olive Hospitality targets 10,000 keys amid India's hotel boom

Kahraman Yigit, co-founder and CEO of Olive Hospitality, envisions India as a million-room hotel powerhouse. Despite launching in January 2020—just before the pandemic—the company seized opportunities by acquiring underperforming hotels, fuelling rapid growth. Today, Olive operates 57 properties across nine cities, with 106 signed and a robust construction pipeline. Its development team has expanded from eight to 32, spanning India. Yigit eyes presence in all 300 subcontinental cities, focusing on unorganised economy, and premium economy segments—90 percent of 2.5 million rooms.
