Kissimmee Place Development Group led by Santiago Fernandez, is proposing to build two hotels in on city-owned land, including one downtown and one near the city’s airport in Kissimmee, Florida. The proposal calls for a 122 guestroom, 60,000-square-foot Hyatt Studios hotel at the airport and a 300 guestroom Hyatt Kissimmee Place hotel with a 30,000-square-foot conference center downtown. The hotel at Kissimmee Gateway would open by January 2027. The downtown hotel would open by 2028.
