Developer Equicor has proposed redeveloping the former Godfrey Hotel site on Rocky Point in Tampa, Florida. The plan includes three towers featuring a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, branded residences, branded apartments, and market-rate apartments. The towers would rise 15 to 19 stories and include 275 hotel rooms, 54 branded residences, 235 to 308 branded apartments, and 208 to 272 market-rate apartments under a brand that has not yet been announced. Gensler is the project architect, Kimley-Horn is the engineer, and Jake Cremer of Barbas Cremer PLLC represents the developer legally.
