Developer M.A. Mortenson Co. is preparing to break ground on a new hotel beside the Las Vegas Convention Center. The 233,330-square-foot project will include 397 rooms, with 237 under the AC Hotel brand and 160 as Residence Inn & Suites. Planned amenities include meeting and event space, a fitness center, a coffee bar, a retail market, a Residence Inn lounge with complimentary breakfast, and a rooftop pool deck with an AC Hotel lounge overlooking the skyline. Nate Gundrum serves as Mortenson’s vice president of development.
