Hotel owner GIRI LLC plans to renovate the Baymont by Wyndham Hotel at 275 Research Parkway in Meriden Connecticut and convert to property to high end extended stay serviced residences. The 150 guestrooms would be converted into micro-studio apartments with 15 larger one bedroom units. The units will be 300 square feet with private bathrooms and kitchens. Additional amenities include a pool, exercise room, art gallery, spa, restaurant, ball room and outdoor terrace. The property includes 342 parking spaces and solar panels would be installed that would provide electricity for the entire building. No project renovation cost has been determined.
