A proposed beachfront Boardwalk Belhaven Hotel is set to go before the Rehoboth Beach Delaware Planning Commission for the Friday, June 12 meeting. The proposed hotel, located at 2 Rehoboth Ave sits on a lot that stretches east a few hundred feet and south to Wilmington Avenue. The new hotel is being proposed by property owners John and Alex Papajohn. Plans called for a four-story-hotel of about 77,000 square feet, with 120 rooms, 19,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space at ground level, and 121 parking spaces.
