A developer has proposed a boutique hotel in Miami Florida’s Brickell neighborhood. Planned by Habitus Brickell Off A LLC, managed by Mauricio Magana of Habitus Capital, the hotel would be built on a 5,850-square-foot lot with an old duplex at 1511 S.W. Second Ave. The eight-story hotel totaling 35,497 square feet, would consist of 40 rooms and seven parking spaces. Amenities would include a roof deck with a plunge pool and a small gym. The developer would contract with Reef for valet parking. The hotel rooms would range from 517 to 902 square feet. Attorney Carli Koshal, represents the developer in the application. MKDA designed the project. The hotel would be flagged under the hospitality brand Sonder, which operates in more than 40 cities.
