Developer Shlomo Meiri of Harlem Nights LLC is proposing to develop a casino hotel is the historic west side of Las Vegas, Nevada. The Harlem Nights Casino Hotel would be a 60-story, 687-foot-tall hotel and casino development with 764 hotel rooms and 458 residential units. It would be located on about two acres of land located at Jackson Avenue and F Street, where the boarded-up Tokyo Casino is located. It would be the tallest building in the area and amongst the tallest in all of Las Vegas. The project has faced opposition due to its height however the developer is optimistic that the Las Vegas Planning Commission will vote in favor of the project in its upcoming June 13th meeting.
