Construction of the Wichita Falls, Texas hotel, convention center construction is approved and expected to start in November. The approval came for $15 million going to Clark Construction to build the convention center portion. The 200 guestroom, full service hotel, will cost $50 million, be branded as a Delta Hotel by Marriott and is being developed by O’Reilly Hospitality Management. The project includes a 14,725 square foot Banquet Room. The entire Conference Center, which includes a pre-convention area and back-of-house space is approximately 35,960 square feet. The Delta by Marriott Hotel and Conference Center will be located on the grounds of the MPEC Facilities.
