Plans are moving forward for a new hotel at 100 N. Main Ave., in downtown San Antonio, Texas. The $58 million project, would include a Residence Inn by Marriott proposed by Merritt Development Group and Peachtree Group. Plans are to break ground in the third quarter of 2024 with completion anticipated in 2026. The 10-story hotel will have 171 guest rooms, a small outdoor courtyard and amenities including a meeting space, fitness room and even a rooftop pool and terrace. The property will also feature a retail component comprised of a coffee shop on the ground floor. BGKT Architects is designing the hotel.
