A busy commercial area along Jackson Road just outside Ann Arbor Michigan is planned to get a new business park, and extended-stay hotel. Developers are proposing the project, called the Honey Creek Business Park, for a 25-acre property near the intersection of Jackson and Zeeb roads. The land, at 5411 Jackson Road, is the site of a former Edwards Brothers Malloy book manufacturing and printing facility that the company closed in 2018. The plans submitted to Scio Township are in early stages, they show a four-story, 122-room hotel behind an existing Burger King and Zippy Auto Wash. Concord Development is planning the project with owner RSH Equites LLC. A.R. Brouwer Co is the project’s construction manager led by Mark Melshi. Carlisle Wortman Assocites Inc is the project’s master planners & architect. Metro Consulting Associates is the project’s engineer.
