The World of Wonders Science Museum in downtown Lodi, California has proposed a 100 guest room Hilton Tapestry Collection hotel and convention center as part of its WOW Science Plaza expansion. The project would combine hospitality, science education, tourism, and community engagement. Since 2016, plans have included a dome theater, art-and-science carousel, amphitheater, dining, retail, exhibits, and classrooms. Pacific Development Group would build the hotel and convention center above the museum; construction is expected to take about 18 months after groundbreaking. Nja Architecture is designing the project.
