Plans to remodel the Coast Inn in Laguna Beach, California are moving forward. The hotel is owned Chris Dornin of Dornin Investment Group. The project will return the building to its 1927 Spanish Colonial Revival style. The Bear Flag Fish Co, a fast-casual restaurant and fish market, will take over the space that was once the Boom Boom Room and a rooftop deck will add a third story. The hotel will have 24 rooms, the same number it has had since the 1930s.   Construction of the $25 million project is planned to begin next year.
