A multi-use development including a hotel, apartments and retail is being planned for La Brea Ave. at Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles California. CGI+ Real Estate Strategies has secured full entitlements and plans to start developing nearly half a city block at 639 S. La Brea, adjacent to where the Metro’s Wilshire/La Brea station is under construction. The eight-story development will include a 125-key hotel, 121 residential units, and 13,000 square feet of street level and rooftop restaurant space. The boutique-style hotel will aim to draw both leisure and business travelers with rooms ranging from 320 to 415 square feet, as well as two top-floor guest suites as large as 1,200 square feet. Plans also include a 3,500-square-foot event space and a layered roof top guest deck and swimming pool with views of Downtown Los Angeles, the Hollywood Hills and Century City. Architecture and interior design firm Morris Adjmi is designing the project.
