Developer Marc Really and investor Relu Stan are planning to build a 296-room hotel at 311 N. Sangamon St. in the Fulton Market area of Chicago Illinois. As part of the proposal, the development team wants 6,000 square feet of retail and office space and there would be no on-site parking. If approved, the 149-foot-tall hotel would replace the Fulton Market Kitchen restaurant. The team aims to preserve and incorporate an adjacent four-story building at 310 N. Peoria St. The building formerly housed the Wolf, Sayer and Heller meatpacking and butcher supply company. The project is set to goto the planning commission for approval.
