Construction has begun on the $117 million Miyako Hotel in Plano, Texas in the Parks at Legacy Campus near the Toyota auto plant. Set to open in the Fall of 2027 the 13-story, 217-guestroom hotel will feature amenities including a traditional Japanese restaurant, upscale lobby and rooftop bars, a Japanese bakery, an outdoor pool and fitness center, plus banquet and conference space. Architects Gensler and Dallas-Looney & Associates are designing the project. The Beck Group, is the general contractor. Kintetsu Enterprises is the project developer.
