Developer Tony Singh of Continental Development Consultants Inc. has proposed two hotels at Metro Air Park in Sacramento, California: the six-story, 108-room Capitol Parq Hotel and a five-story, 97-room Comfort Inn & Suites. Capitol Parq would occupy a 1.8-acre parcel on Bear Paw Drive between Meister Way and West Elkhorn Boulevard, near several other proposed hotel sites. Plans include a north-side porte cochere, outdoor seating on the north and south sides, two ground-floor conference rooms, a dining and bar area, a fitness center, and a market. The 65,452-square-foot hotel is not identified with a national chain. Directly south, near the northeast corner of Meister Way and Bear Paw Drive, the 51,288-square-foot Comfort Inn & Suites would feature an indoor pool, fitness center, flex room, breakfast and dining area, and market. Sacramento County is reviewing designs for both projects.
