Developers JMA Ventures and Machete Group plan to begin construction of a $500 million mixed-use 9000,000 sf Westcourt development project along West Church Street in downtown Orlando, Florida that will include a Kimpton hotel. The multiphase development will include the 265 guest room Kimpton-branded hotel, 269 high-rise residential units, a 3,500-capacity Live Nation events venue, 125,000 square feet of entertainment and dining retail, 1.5 acres of green space, and more than 1,140 parking spots. Leasing is underway for the 310,000-square-foot portion of Class A office space through Foundry Commercial. Baker Barrios is the project Architect. Turner Construction is the general contractor.
