The first phase of a downtown mixed use multi-phase project called the Scioto Peninsula will break ground in downtown Columbus, Ohio in September 2020 to be completed late 2022. The $250 million first phase will include office, retail and residential units and a 197 guestroom independent hotel. Rockbridge Capital in developing the hotel located at 77 Belle Street and includes a destination restaurant, lobby bar, rooftop bar, fitness center and 10,000 sf of meeting space. Nicole Nathan of Architect Johnson Nathan Strohe designed the project. Rockbridge is planning to build a 2 nd branded hotel in the next phase that will include 203 guestrooms.
