Swire Properties has broken ground on the two-tower Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami Florida at 500 Brickell Key Drive, replacing the former 23-story hotel imploded in April. The 66-story South Tower will have 228 two- to five-bedroom condos and is 80% pre-sold; the 33-story North Tower will include 121 hotel rooms, 70 two- to four-bedroom condos, and 28 hotel-condo units and is 25% pre-sold. A 100,000-square-foot amenity deck will feature wellness and fitness facilities, pools and cabanas, lounges, recreation spaces, a business center, and a children’s club. The hotel will also offer a Mandarin Oriental spa and waterfront dining. Tim Blackburn is Swire Properties’ CEO, Moss is the general contractor, and Kohn Pedersen Fox is the architect. Completion is scheduled for 2030.
