Hotel developer Optimal Hospitality Inc. is building a Tru by Hilton Hotel in Sonoma County California. The Tru hotel would be built off-site in modular units. Rooms would be shipped in fully built, with the exception of windows, and stacked atop each other by a large crane. The new hotel is to be located on the south side of Airport Boulevard at Aviation Boulevard near Charles M Schulzz Airport. Hotel construction is booming across California as well as in the North Bay. In Sonoma, Marin, Napa and Solano Counties, 83 hotels are in various planning stages.
