Developer Peak Hospitality, led by CEO Walter Barela is planning to build a new Wood Spring Suites extended stay hotel on F.G. Amin Street in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico across from an existing Holiday Inn Express. The hotel will break ground in the second quarter of 2025 and take 16 months. The hotel will be three stories with 84 guest rooms at 37,000 square feet, at a cost of $12 million. The architect on the project is Stephen Hundley. The company has yet to choose a general contractor for the project.
