Drury Hotels has started construction on the Drury Plaza Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida, at 2600 W. International Speedway Blvd. The eight-story, 126,757-square-foot hotel will replace a closed Haverty’s furniture store and Miller’s Ale House on a 4.64-acre site between a Best Western hotel and International Speedway Square shopping center. The Drury Plaza Hotel Daytona Speedway will include 180 rooms, a pool, more than 2,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, restaurant and surface parking for over 100 vehicles. Chuck Drury is CEO of Drury Hotels, and Jared Barbee is director of real estate development at Drury Development. The project is expected to be completed in June 2027.
