Developers have proposed Two Rivers, a 3,405-acre mixed-use, master-planned community along State Road 56 in Zephyrhills, Florida. The proposal includes a 35-acre destination surf park, approximately 1.34 million square feet of retail space, and 900 additional multifamily units. Other proposed components include: 4,047 single-family homes; 2,500 multifamily units; 1.34 million square feet of retail space; a 300-bed assisted living facility; and 480 hotel rooms.Ā The 35-acre recreation and water park would be located at the northeast corner of State Road 56 and U.S. 301.Ā The surf park would feature more than 1,700 square feet of beaches and a lagoon boardwalk; a rooftop restaurant and bar; a skate track, climbing walls, ropes courses, and performance trampolines; a retail village, amphitheater, and corporate facilities; and a membersā lounge, on-site childcare, and childrenās camps.Ā Tony Miller of Peak Surf Park is developing the surf park, while Eisenhower Property Group serves as the master developer of Two Rivers.
